The Shire of East Pilbara announces that a Concert on the Green events will take place on Saturday, 18 October 2025 from 6:00pm to 9:30pm at the Newman Fortescue Golf Club. This event is expected to draw around 250 residents and will feature live music from Riley Pearce.

Statewide Public Notice is given of the intention of the Shire of East Pilbara to adopt a Regional Price Preference Policy in accordance with regulation 24E of the Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1996. The Regional Price Preference Policy will apply to the local government districts of East Pilbara, Ashburton, Port Hedland and Karratha.
