Strategic Community Plan

The Shire of East Pilbara Strategic Community Plan is an important document that articulates the community's vision and priorities for the future and shows how the Council intend to make progress over the next ten years.

The Plan is reviewed every two years, alternating between a minor review (updating as needed) and a major review (going through all the steps again).

Our vision for the Shire of East Pilbara is to create a diverse community thriving in a vast landscape that offers a world of opportunity and rich heritage and culture.

The Strategic Community Plan has 5 priority areas:

• Economic
• Social
• Built Environment
• Natural Environment
• Governance

Corporate Business Plan

The Corporate Business Plan addresses all of the Shire's operations including services, assets (capital works and ongoing operating) and projects. It also identifies how the Shire's operations link to the Strategic Community Plan through strategies and outcomes.
