Newman Sustainable Litter Collection
The Sustainable Litter Collection programs aims to empower community groups to raise funds for their club or group, while achieving a common goal to keep Newman clean and beautiful. Groups can nominate to take part in the program twice a year. Groups are selected and paid $2000 for one month of litter collection.
Groups head out on weekends with provided materials and clean up their allocated selections. On Monday the depot workers collect all the bags from around town.
