NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT ON A PLANNING APPLICATION LODGED WITH THE SHIRE OF EAST PILBARA

The Shire of East Pilbara has received a development application for a change of use for an “Office” by Puntukurnu Aboriginal Medical Service(PAMS) for land use at Lots 101 & 103 Lee Lane, Newman.
The proposed development involves the occupation of the former Dome restaurant tenancy, to be converted into an administrative office. The applicant has advised there are an existing 150 shared car bays that service the tenancies of Parnawarri Retail Centre. The “office” land use, proposes the allocation of 14 car bays between Monday to Friday during operational hours, within the BHP owned carpark at Market Place (behind the Newman Shopping Centre). No new or additional parking is proposed.
