NOTICE OF PUBLIC ADVERTISEMENT OF ROAD CLOSURE

Pursuant to Section 58 of the Land Administration Act 1997, notice is given that the Shire of East Pilbara has received an application to close a portion of Great Northern Highway, Hope Downs and public comments are invited.
The purpose of the closure is for tenure changes to accommodate the realignment of Great Northern Highway and construction of a bridge over RTIO’s Hope Downs railway line as shown
on Main Roads drawing 2560-013-2.
Details of the closure are available for inspection at the Shire Administration Office at Kalgan Drive, Newman, which is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm or can be downloaded from the Shire of East Pilbara website at www.eastpilbara.wa.gov.au
Submissions on the closure must be in writing to the Shire of East Pilbara by either:
- Delivered in person at the Shire Administration Office, Newman; or
- Mailed addressed to PMB 22, Newman WA 6753; or
- Emailed to: [email protected]
All submissions must be received by close of business Wednesday 9th December 2023.
