Monday - Friday	9:30am - 5:00pm
Saturday	9:00am - 2:00pm
Sunday	Closed

* Please note our computer station and printing facilities close 15 minutes prior to closing.

Membership

Patrons wishing to borrow books must become a member. Drop into the Library to meet the friendly staff to process your application. You will need to bring Photo Identification and proof of address to be sighted by the Newman Library staff before you can borrow books.

The Shire’s libraries offer a range of membership types, including a tourist membership which will allow you be a library member for one month. Shire of East Pilbara library members can use their membership in any of our libraries.

Programs

We offer a range of regular programs for all ages, including a regular school holiday program. Check out our Facebook page for more information on programs happening in the library.

Music & Movement	Thursdays	10:30am	0 to 3 years	Join us for a fun multi-sensory play session full of reading, talking, singing, writing and playing.
Story Time	Fridays	10:00am	0 to 5 years	Sing your favourite Nursery Rhymes, read a story and enjoy a craft activity.
Book Club	First Saturday of each month	11:00am	Adult book lovers	Read the book of the month and come together to share what the story meant to you.
Adult Arts & Crafts	Third Saturday of each month	10:00am	Adults	Try your hand at a new craft or get tips on how you can improve, with a new theme each month.
One on One IT Sessions	Monday - Wednesday	Upon request	Anyone	Need help navigating around today's technology? Or maybe you want to learn the basics of Excel and Word? Don't worry, the library is here to help. Please call or email us to book in an individual one-hour session.

Library Collection

Newman Library has a large range of items available for loan. Library staff can also order a variety of books for you on inter-library loans from any public library in WA, so you can always get what you need.

If you are travelling and unable to borrow, Newman Library operates a fabulous book exchange program that enables you to restock your reading material before continuing on your travels.
