Recycling Workshop 16 September

Come along to a recycling workshop and refresh your household on the correct way to use your yellow-lid recycling bin!

The Shire is hosting the workshop, delivered by Cleanaway’s Education Officer, at the Newman Council Chambers, on Wednesday the 16th of September at 4pm.

The workshop will cover:

• The recycling process;
• What you can and can't place in your yellow-lid recycling bin;
• Common mistakes and how to avoid them; and
• Cleanaway’s Materials Recovery Facility sorting process.

This is also a chance to meet the Shire’s Waste Services’ team, Cleanaway staff and have your questions on recyclables answered.
