Lighting At Public Ovals Now Operational

Sporting Clubs and community are advised:

• All automated lighting for the sports grounds and community ovals are functional and will now be scheduled through the lighting application so manual switching is no longer required.
• This does not apply to tower 3 at Capricorn Oval. A contractor has been organised to manually turn on and off of the lights on Tower 3 at Capricorn oval tonight, and will continue to manually operate the lights until they are fully functional.
• All sporting clubs and user groups which have been manually turning on lights during the outage are asked to no longer use the manual switches, as this may create issues with the automation.
• Community members are advised that general lighting on Goanna and Boomerang Ovals will resume operating between the hours 6pm – 8pm.
