Red Country Music Festival
‘The Red Country Music Festival 2024 – Pilbara Tour’ lands in Newman on Sunday 16 June 2024 on Boomerang Oval. The festival starts at 12 noon, running through to 10pm. Bring your camping chair or picnic rug for a great day out with food and top line entertainment, thanks to the Shire of East Pilbara and the supporting partners.
The Red Country Music Festival aims to unite the community through a line-up of music, arts, and cultural experiences. Historically, the festival has showcased award-winning artists, nurturing local talent, and providing memorable cultural experiences.
Shire President Anthony Middleton said, "The Shire is proud to support this event. The partnership demonstrates the Shire's dedication to arranging family-friendly and inclusive events that are accessible to every member of the community. The festival is set to feature renowned national country music artists with upcoming state and local performers, and it is thrilling for our town to host a large scale family concert event.
"This free event presents a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together and experience live music, diverse food vendors, and activities tailored for families to enjoy."
Red Country Music Festival Director and performer Bradley Hall said, “I have been developing the Pilbara based music festival concept over the past ten years. We are very excited to have the Shire’s support to bring the festival to Newman.”
“We will be bringing a great line up of talent and we look forward to seeing everyone coming out and enjoying a fantastic show.”
Soulful storytelling through song runs through Bradley Hall‘s blood. A Nyiyaparli man from the Eastern Pilbara in Western Australia, Bradley is no stranger to dirt roads, fresh country air and long drives through our beautiful country. Bradley’s love of country music and sharing stories has seen him travel over 50,000 kilometers across 15 tours throughout regional West Australia, Queensland, Tamworth and New Zealand performing at pubs, clubs, mine sites and festivals.
The sponsorship aligns with the Shire's commitment to supporting cultural initiatives that foster community unity, celebrate diversity, and contribute to the region's economic development.
The Newman event will be a ‘free to the community’ and an ‘alcohol-free’ concert. For further event details and updates, visit eastpilbara.wa.gov.au/events.
