The passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, marks the end of an era.
On behalf of the Councillors and staff and communities of the Shire of East Pilbara, I extend my deepest sympathies to the King and the Royal Family in their time of grief.
I acknowledge Her Late Majesty’s many years of dedicated service to the Commonwealth, and all she has accomplished as our Queen.
For most of us, Her Late Majesty The Queen, was the only monarch we have known: a pillar of strength and familiarity throughout her 70-year reign, whilst the world changed around us.
As Monarch, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Her Late Majesty will be missed by all.
May Her Late Majesty Rest in Peace.
