Shire of East Pilbara Scheme No. 4 - Notice of public advertisement of application for development approval

The Shire of East Pilbara has received an application to use and/or develop land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.
Address: 502 McLennan Drive, Newman
Proposal: Telecommunications Infrastructure (Telecommunications Monopole)
A 35 metre high telecommunications monopole is proposed on site, accommodating three (3) panel antennas. At ground level, an equipment shelter is proposed with ancillary equipment. The facility will be located within a 10m x 10m area enclosed by security fencing. The proposed location is vacant Crown land, reserved for ‘Public Purposes’ under the Shire of East Pilbara Local Planning Scheme No. 4.
Details of the proposal are available to the public at the Shire of East Pilbara Administration Building, corner of Kalgan and Newman Drives, Newman. Submissions may be made on the proposal in the period ending Friday 14th November 2025. Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before that day.
The proposal is available for inspection in order to provide opportunity for public comment and it should not be construed that final approval will be granted.
