Notice of Change of Ordinary Council Meeting Location

Notice is given in accordance with regulation 12(3) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996 that the location for the Ordinary Council Meeting scheduled for 27 March 2026 has been changed to the Newman Council Chambers.

This decision has been made due to current fuel supply constraints. The Shire is taking a practical approach to limit non-essential travel at this time to help preserve available fuel resources.

The Shire recognises the importance of holding Council meetings in Marble Bar to support local access and engagement and appreciates the community’s understanding in this instance.

Council remains committed to returning to Marble Bar, with the next scheduled Ordinary Council Meeting to be held there in October 2026.
