Wendy McWhirter-Brooks has decades of experience in agriculture, education and community development as an advocate, agricultural enterprise operator and a teacher.
She serves on several local, state and national committees and Boards, including the Pilbara Development Commission, Australian Rural Youth Foundation. Wendy is currently the Chair of the Marble Bar CRC and Treasurer of the Marble Bar Tourism Association. Living in Marble Bar, Wendy is passionate about supply logistics infrastructure, ensuring business excellence for our Shire entity.
She believes in maximising opportunities for young people in remote, regional WA, and helping to create better social, cultural and economic opportunities for people in the Pilbara.
