NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 5.4(a)(i) – SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

Pursuant to section 5.4(a)(i) of the Local Government Act 1995, I give notice of a Special Meeting
of the Council to be convened on Friday, 29 May 2026 at 4.30pm to be held in the Newman
Council Chambers.
The purpose of the Special Meeting is to consider the following matter/s:
• to consider any submissions received in relation to the proposed differential rates
for 2026/27 and an application for ministerial approval for differential rates;
• to consider recommendations to award a tender; and
• any other items that are considered to be necessary for inclusion on the Agenda.
