In celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, the Shire of East Pilbara Youth Services is hosting an International Women’s Day Mentor Mixer - Empower, Connect, Inspire, and we are calling on women from across our community to get involved.
This event is about real stories, shared experiences, and meaningful connection. We are seeking women from all walks of life, teachers, nurses, community service workers, business owners, tradeswomen, students, parents, carers, professionals, and community leaders, as well as women who may not hold a formal title but have a story that could inspire and empower our young people.
The Mentor Mixer will provide a relaxed, welcoming space for young people to:
- Hear about different career, study, and life pathways
- Learn about challenges, setbacks, and successes
- Ask questions and build confidence
- Connect with positive female role models in our community
