East Pilbara Youth Retreat

The East Pilbara Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is excited to invite you to participate in our inaugural Youth Retreat, to be held in Newman in May 2026.

The workshops will include a range of leadership focused topics, including: Amplifying Youth Voice, Skills for Work and Future Pathways, mental Health & Youth Wellbeing, Entrepreneurship & Innovation and Cultural identity & inclusion. The workshops will be facilitated by Youth Leadership Academy Australia, who come with a wealth of experience and are looking forward to sharing their knowledge with our young people.

We hope that the skills learned from this weekend, will give you the confidence to add your voice to the East Pilbara YAC, empowering young people to grow by amplifying your voice in local government and addressing issues directly impacting you.
