Celebrate WA Day in Newman with a vibrant afternoon and evening of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and community connection. Held at Emu Oval, this free event brings people together to recognise the stories, cultures and spirit that make Western Australia unique, finishing with a spectacular fireworks display.

Enjoy an exciting program of live music and performances, featuring DJ Viv, Adrian Dzvuke and Feel Estate.

Families can take part in a range of interactive activities, including a circus skills workshop, SciTech STEM experiences, and skills and drills with the West Coast Eagles.

There’ll also be opportunities to meet Rick and Rosie, explore the merchandise and colouring-in tent, and enjoy roaming entertainment including illuminated stilt performers.

A variety of food vendors will be available throughout the event, with the evening concluding in a fireworks display lighting up the Pilbara sky. Proudly presented by BHP, with support from the State Government and Lotterywest.
