Living in a rural and remote town can mean that residents miss out on the services that people in the city take for granted. We are fortunate that in Newman, volunteers step up to fill the gap and provide a range of services to make our community such a great place to live. Resilient communities are created by volunteers.

Share your appreciation for their commitment by nominating them for the Shire of East Pilbara Volunteer of the Month Award. Winners will receive a $50 gift card to spend at a local business and an appreciation certificate for their contribution to the communities.

All nominations will be recognised and acknowledged annually on December 5 at Thank a Volunteer Day.
