The Newman Library is so much more than a place to borrow books. Facilities at the Newman Library mean you can scan and copy documents as well as laminate larger size posters. There are a number of computer stations where you can use the internet for personal use or for on-line learning.

Membership
If you want to borrow books you must become a member. Drop into the Library to meet the friendly staff and they will process your application. You will need to bring Photo Identification and proof of address to be sighted by the Newman library staff.
Once you are a member you can borrow books for up to three weeks.
If you are residing in Newman for less than 3 months, unfortunately you cannot become a member.

Inter-Library Loans
Library staff can order a variety of books for you on inter-library loans from any public library in WA, so you can always get what you need.
Travelling through Newman?
If you are travelling and unable to borrow, the Newman Library operates a fabulous book exchange program that enable you to restock your reading material before continuing on your travels.
