Your Leader in Newman
Your Scout Group Leader and Guides Unit Leader in Newman is Suzy Oldham (aka Boo Boo in the Scouting world).
Suzy Oldham has an immense capacity to engage the youth and children of Newman. For many years, through her involvement in Scouts and Girl Guides, Suzy Oldham has inspired her charges to be the best they can be by actively participating in community activities. Suzy has served the youth in our community for a number years and represents a wonderful role model and mentor for the youth of Newman.

Newman Scout Group
The Newman Scout Group is open to both boys and girls aged 6-14 years and meets during school term as follows:
Joey Scouts (Ages 6-8 years) Thursdays 4:30pm-5:30pm
Cub Scouts (Ages 7.5-11 years) Thursdays 6pm-7:30pm
Scouts (Ages 10.5-15 years) Wednesdays 6:30pm-8:30pm
Scouts provides a fun and challenging environment for each child to "learn by doing". To do this, we need volunteers to fill a wide range of roles, such as uniformed leader (training provided), non-uniformed committee member as well as other tasks including transport, cooking, quartermaster, etc. All we need is adults who like to have fun and be involved in the world's largest youth movement.
If you or your child would be interested in joining Newman Scouts, please contact Group Leader Suzy Oldham at email@example.com
